Indian Wedding Accessories What Are Appropriate Accessories To Wear As A Guest To An Indian Wedding?

What are appropriate accessories to wear as a guest to an Indian wedding? - indian wedding accessories

I'm going to a traditional Indian wedding in Kerala soon be visited. I borrowed some Lehenga A beautiful Indian friend to lead the ceremony, but I'm not sure if I'm right accessories. Can someone tell me whether it is appropriate the following:

1. For Lehenga, I bought a necklace of traditional gold necklace (described as "stone chain Polka"), a clothes shop online Indian jewelry. It is a cheap toy, really, but looks much better than it costs. It is a kind of hanging and very beautiful, but much less ornate than the other things I saw on the website. That sounds like an option, or should follow the jewels of Western-style?

Lehenga 2.Since my friend is a bit too long for me, wore heels, sandals, a little imagination. Is it likely that I will have them off during the ceremony?

3.Are gold bracelets on each arm (as Fine Jewelry), or accessories by hand puppet?

4.Do Indian women have to keep an evening bag or purse if you are on ceremonial occasions such as weddings? If so, WHWhat should I look?

5.La this is not secondary, but I read somewhere that customers will not use red because it traditionally the color of the bride. Is that correct? One of my Lehenga is a beautiful dark red, so I hope I can use it.
